Autodesk University 2019 - One Month Countdown
T minus 1 Month and Counting.... Autodesk University 2019, November 19-21 - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
The countdown is on....
Back from a couple weeks of holidays and feeling the time crunch, however I am about 95% done all my AU2019 class PowerPoints, Handouts and Datasets/Demo/Examples. Over the past couple months, I have been (once again) participating as a mentor in the Autodesk University Speaker Mentoring Program - which has been a huge interest and rewarding experience. I participated as a mentee during AU2017 (Paul Munford was my mentor) and as a first time speaker, the program was extremely beneficial.
This year I have two roundtable classes, which I would say are a unique class format at AU. Attendees get the opportunity to share and discuss their experiences rather than sitting and listening to a speaker (for the most part). I am planning to email my roundtable attendees shortly with a brief overview and intent of the class topics - ideally to give the attendees a 'heads up' on the discussion points and for them to come prepared to present their experiences. I very much look forward to the discussions that will occur in these classes!!
My instructional demo is coming together very nicely, which includes 6 AutoCAD Productivity Tips in a similar format to my AU2018 class on 6 Sheet Set Manager Strategies for Success. There are so many AutoCAD related best practices that it was difficult to narrow down to only 6, however I feel I have a great cross-section of tips that attendees will benefit from during this class.
