ECW Image Distortion Hotfix

Autodesk AutoCAD 2015-2017 Geolocation Online Map Hotfix

"Are ECW images within your drawing(s) not appearing correctly? If not, here's the fix...."

Autodesk released a Hotfix to address an issue where raster images in ECW format do not display correctly after being attached to a drawing (see image above for an example of the distortion/noise).

Once the Hotfix is applied, ECW imagery will display correctly, resolving the undesired image quality problem.

This Hotfix applies to AutoCAD 2015 through 2017 including all AutoCAD-based vertical product such as Civil 3D, Plant 3D, MEP, etc.
