Autodesk University 2017 - T Minus 4 Months
Autodesk University 2017 - November 14-16 (Las Vegas)
Autodesk University is quickly approaching, T minus 4 months and counting (and yeah I am counting). This is my first year attending as a speaker, which I expect will consume significant amounts of time until mid-November.
Having attended AU for the past 4 years, I have a pretty solid idea how classes "work" at the conference and how broad of a spectrum of knowledge-base that conference attendees are bringing with them. I anticipate my class will include beginners looking at expanding their abilities to seasoned veterans, many of which I am certain have more experience that I do.
I have quickly realized that the 60 minute-allotted class time is being rapidly consumed, easily filled to capacity with best practices components, tips/tricks, detailed background and technical information. I will be providing an extensive class handout to cover all the code examples, technical jargon and workflows to save precious class time. Additionally an example tool palette set which will act as starting point will also be made available for download. All of these components along with the presentation itself will be accessible prior to the conference for all registered conference attendees.
For now, back to work and back to the ongoing development of my class for AU2017.....
